Pocket Square

The origins of the pocket square, in French ‘pochette’, date back to 1600, when King Louis XIV used to wear it every morning according to his clothes or mood, putting it into the vest pocket and letting it ‘fall down’ outside. It is considered as a must-have accessory and it can be made of silk, linen or cotton, it can come in any color and pattern starting from the traditional white with colored borders, that never match the tie pattern. If you wear a dark and formal suit, we recommend to fold it into a rectangle, while if you wear a more casual outfit, inserting it ‘puffy’ into the vest pocket is the best choice.
